A free funded account challenge lets you earn funded trading capital without paying an evaluation fee. At Audacity Capital, you join a free monthly event, trade a simulated $100K account, and climb the live leaderboard. Finish near the top and you win an Ability Challenge or Ability One account, your gateway to becoming a funded trader. A fresh edition runs every month, so there is always a new chance to take part. No fee, no deposit, no real money at risk.
Getting in takes three quick steps and costs you nothing. Here's how to get on the board.
Your entry ticket is a single vote. Head to Prop Firm Match and set Audacity Capital as your “Favorite Firm.” That is the only thing standing between you and a place on the board: no payment, no deposit, just a vote.
Create your profile on the Audacity dashboard at trade.audacity.capital, open the Competition tab, and hit Join. Sign-up runs during a set window each edition, so check the current dates before you start.
Once you join, we activate your account: a simulated $100K Ability Challenge or Ability One, loaded and ready to trade. No deposit, no fee, the virtual capital is on us. From there you are live on the leaderboard and trading begins.
Winning an Audacity competition isn't just about the immediate account—it's your entry into a professional ecosystem. Our funded accounts offer up to 90% profit share, institutional execution speeds, and a scaling plan that can take you to over $1M in management.
Once your account is live, the format is simple: trade well, stay disciplined, and climb the leaderboard. Here's exactly how you are ranked and what it takes to win.
For the full trading month, you trade your simulated $100K account in real market conditions. Every position you take updates your standing on the live leaderboard in real time, so you always know where you sit.
Your place on the board comes down to three things, in this order: • Respect the rules. Stay inside every rule. Breach one and you are disqualified, no matter how much profit you have made. • Grow your balance. Your raw simulated profit sets your position. The more you make, the higher you climb. • Stay consistent. A consistency score of at least 70 is required to be eligible for prizes.
This is the metric that rewards real skill over one lucky trade. It measures how evenly your profit is spread across your trading days instead of coming from a single oversized win. Score 70 or above and you are in the running. Land between 50 and 70 and our risk team reviews your account. Fall below 50 and you will keep trading until you are back over the line.
A few limits keep the field level: a 5% daily drawdown, a 10% maximum drawdown, a minimum of 4 trading days, and no more than 5 open positions at once. News trading, overnight and weekend holds, and manual strategies are all allowed. EAs and bots are not; every trade is placed by you. The full ruleset lives in the Terms section below.
When the month closes, the top finishers on the leaderboard claim their rewards. Winners are announced the following month and confirmed after a quick KYC check.
Two distinct paths to professional capital management.
Winners (Top 10) bypass standard challenge fees and enter their awarded Elite phase immediately. This phase is designed to confirm consistency before deploying live institutional capital.
Performers in the Top 100 receive significant vouchers for our Ability programs, reducing the barrier to professional funding.

Yes. Entry is completely free. There are no evaluation fees, registration fees, or hidden costs to take part. Eligible traders receive an event account and can trade toward funded opportunities based on their performance.
A free trading competition allows traders to compete for prizes or funded trading opportunities without paying an entry fee. A free prop firm challenge gives traders access to an evaluation account without paying the usual challenge fee, but they must still meet the firm's requirements to qualify for funding. A free funded account provides traders with access to funded capital without purchasing a challenge, typically through competitions, promotions, or special programs. In Audacity Capital's case, the Prop Firm Trading Competition is free to enter and gives traders the opportunity to earn funded trading opportunities through their leaderboard performance.
The monthly event lets traders earn funded trading account opportunities based on their leaderboard performance. Top finishers may be awarded an Audacity Capital funded account or funded trading pathway, letting them trade larger capital without risking their own funds. Rewards may vary by month, but the aim is always the same: give talented traders a clear path to becoming a funded trader with Audacity Capital. What You Can Win • Access to funded trading opportunities • Ability Challenge accounts • Recognition on the leaderboard • A pathway to larger trading capital • A place in the Audacity Capital trader community
Yes. After registering, you receive your account and can begin trading under the rules. To be eligible for prizes and funded opportunities, take part actively, follow the guidelines, and reach a strong leaderboard ranking before the trading period ends. The higher your performance relative to other traders, the greater your chance of earning funded trading opportunities with Audacity Capital.
Yes. It is a free trading event that runs every month, giving traders a shot at funded opportunities with no evaluation fee. You receive an account, trade under the rules, and climb the leaderboard on performance. Each month is a fresh start to show your skills and move a step closer to becoming a funded trader with Audacity Capital. Check the latest page for current dates, rules, and prize details.
It is open to traders of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner building practical experience or a seasoned trader showing your skills, you are welcome to take part. For beginners, it is a chance to trade in a structured setting, learn how these monthly events work, and measure your performance against others. For experienced traders, it is a chance to prove consistency, climb the leaderboard, and trade toward funded opportunities. Prior experience helps, but there are no professional requirements to enter. Success comes down to your trading performance during the trading period.
The biggest difference is that entry here is free, whereas most prop firms make traders buy an evaluation account before they can trade toward funding. With a traditional paid route, you pay an upfront fee and must hit specific profit targets while following the firm's rules to qualify. Fail, and you may need to pay again to restart or buy a reset. With Audacity, there is no fee to take part. You receive an account, trade alongside other participants, and work toward funded opportunities based on your performance and leaderboard ranking.
Yes. Audacity Capital is one of the longest-established proprietary trading firms in the industry, founded in 2012. For over a decade it has provided funded trading opportunities, processed trader payouts, and supported traders across more than 140 countries. It stands out from many newer prop firms through its long operating history, institutional liquidity infrastructure, and transparent trading programs. The firm has processed over £2.4 billion in trading volume and distributes around £2.8 million in trader payouts each month. Why Traders Trust Audacity Capital • Established in 2012 with a proven track record • Available to traders in 140+ countries • Over £2.4 billion in trading volume processed • Around £2.8 million in average monthly payouts • Institutional liquidity with zero commissions and zero swap fees • Scaling opportunities of up to $2 million in trading capital • Clear risk management rules and funding requirements As with any prop firm, review the program rules, funding requirements, and risk parameters before joining. Audacity Capital's longevity, transparency, and funding history have helped make it one of the more recognized and trusted names in the prop trading industry.
You trade a $100,000 Ability Challenge account. That gives you a substantial account size to show your skills while ranking against other traders on the leaderboard. Your goal is to grow the account while following the rules and risk parameters. Top finishers can earn funded trading opportunities and other rewards based on their final ranking. The account is provided specifically for the event and is separate from Audacity Capital's live funded trading programs. Always check the latest rules for any updates to account size or format.
The Audacity Capital Trading Competition is conducted on MetaTrader 5 (MT5), one of the world's most popular trading platforms. After registering, eligible participants receive their competition account credentials and can access the competition through MT5. MT5 provides traders with: Advanced charting and technical analysis tools Multiple order types and execution options Custom indicators and Expert Advisors (where permitted) Desktop, web, and mobile access Real-time market data and account monitoring Participants should ensure they have MT5 installed and are familiar with the platform before the competition begins. Competition-specific trading rules and platform details will be provided upon registration.
Yes. It is open to traders from many countries, including the United States, subject to the eligibility requirements and terms. US-based traders can register, receive an account, and rank on the leaderboard alongside participants from other regions. As with everyone, review the latest rules, eligibility criteria, and any country-specific restrictions before entering. For the most current eligibility details, refer to the official terms on the Audacity Capital website.
You follow the same risk rules applied to the $100,000 Ability Challenge account: • 5% daily drawdown limit: your account must not lose more than 5% in a single trading day. • 10% maximum drawdown limit: your total drawdown must not exceed 10% of the starting balance. These rules reward disciplined risk management and consistency, not just profit. Breaching a drawdown limit can lead to disqualification or removal from the leaderboard. Always review the latest rules before trading, as requirements can be updated periodically.
The consistency score measures how steadily you generate profit over time. Rather than leaning on one or two big winners, it rewards traders who show disciplined risk management and steady performance. To qualify, reach a consistency score of at least 70 by the end of the trading period. How to Improve Your Consistency Score • Trade steadily across the whole trading period. • Avoid relying on a single oversized winning trade. • Follow sound risk management and position sizing. • Focus on steady, repeatable profit rather than aggressive growth. • Keep a balanced approach across multiple trading days. Example: High Consistency Score • Multiple profitable trading days • Controlled risk per trade • Gradual account growth Example: Low Consistency Score • One large winning trade generates most profit • Excessive risk-taking • Irregular trading activity Reaching 70 or higher shows the discipline and risk management expected of a funded trader.
To be eligible for prizes and funded opportunities, complete a minimum of 5 trading days during the trading period. A trading day is usually counted when at least one trade is opened and closed under the rules. Meeting the minimum helps ensure rankings reflect consistent performance rather than a single session. Alongside minimum days, you must meet all other requirements, including drawdown limits, the consistency score, and leaderboard qualification. Always check the latest rules for updates to eligibility.
No. The format is built to assess individual skill and decision-making. So Expert Advisors (EAs), trading bots, automated strategies, copy trading, trade mirroring, and signal services are not permitted. You are expected to place and manage your own trades manually throughout the trading period. Using prohibited automation can lead to disqualification, removal from the leaderboard, or forfeiture of prizes and funded opportunities. Not Allowed • Expert Advisors (EAs) • Automated trading bots • Copy trading software • Trade mirroring services • Third-party signal execution tools • Any fully automated trade execution Allowed • Manual trading • Personal market analysis • Technical indicators and charting tools • Individual strategies executed manually Please review the latest rules and terms before taking part, as requirements can change.
You can hold a maximum of 5 open positions at any one time. This rule encourages disciplined risk management and prevents excessive exposure across trades. The maximum position size is 5 lots per trade. Keep all positions within the risk guidelines, including the daily and maximum drawdown limits. Trading Limits • Maximum open positions: 5 • Maximum lot size per trade: 5 lots • Daily drawdown limit: 5% • Maximum drawdown limit: 10% These limits help create a fair, level field while rewarding consistency and effective risk management.
Yes. News trading is allowed. You must still follow all rules, including drawdown limits, consistency requirements, and risk guidelines. Major economic announcements can create sharp volatility, raising the risk of slippage, fast price moves, and larger-than-expected losses. Trade with caution and make sure your strategy suits volatile conditions. As always, refer to the latest rules and terms for any specific restrictions on news trading.
Yes. Overnight and weekend holds are allowed, provided you keep following all rules, including drawdown limits and risk requirements. This flexibility supports a wider range of styles, including swing trading and longer-term position trading, without forcing you to close at the end of each day. Be aware that holding through overnight sessions or the weekend can expose you to added volatility, market gaps, and unexpected news when markets reopen. Always make sure your risk plan accounts for this before carrying positions beyond the trading day.
No. Each participant may make one entry per trading period. Multiple entries using the same email, device, IP address, or other identifying details may be flagged for review and could lead to disqualification. This keeps the field fair for everyone and prevents users from gaining an unfair advantage through multiple accounts. If several traders from the same household or organization want to take part, please contact the Audacity Capital team in advance to confirm eligibility and avoid verification issues.
No. To keep things fair, you must register and receive your account before the start date. Entries are usually closed once the month is underway, since late starters would have less trading time and could skew the rankings. If you have missed the current month, don't worry: a new edition runs every month, giving traders regular chances to take part and trade toward funded opportunities. Register as early as you can to secure your place and receive all the details before the next month begins.
Yes. If you breach your account or do not meet the qualification requirements this month, you are welcome to register for next month and try again. Each month is treated as a new event, giving traders a fresh chance to take part, improve, and earn funded opportunities. Previous results do not stop you from taking part in future months, unless stated otherwise in the rules. Many successful traders use it to refine their strategy, sharpen risk management, and gain experience before entering again.
Winners are decided by final leaderboard position at the end of the trading period. To be eligible, you must meet all requirements, including minimum trading days, the consistency score, and drawdown limits. Once the month ends, the Audacity Capital team reviews the final results and confirms that eligible participants followed the rules. Qualified winners are then selected on performance and ranking. Winners are usually announced through Audacity Capital's official channels, and successful participants are contacted directly about their funded trading opportunities or prizes. To Qualify, Traders Must: • Meet the minimum trading day requirement • Achieve the required consistency score • Stay within the daily and maximum drawdown limits • Follow all rules and trading guidelines • Finish among the top performers on the leaderboard The stronger your performance and consistency, the higher your chances of a winning position.
No. If you qualify as a winner, there is no fee to claim your prize. Eligible winners are contacted by the Audacity Capital team with instructions on how to access their awarded account or funded trading opportunity. Make sure the account details you provided at registration are accurate and that you complete any verification needed to receive your prize. If extra steps are required to activate a prize, these are communicated to winners in advance. Audacity Capital does not charge winners a separate fee to claim prizes.
If you win, the Audacity Capital team contacts you with your prize details and the next steps to activate it. Depending on the prize structure, winners may receive access to an Ability Challenge account, a funded trading opportunity, or another trading-related reward. Before activation, you may need to complete standard verification checks and accept the relevant program terms. Once activated, you can begin trading under the rules of the awarded program and work toward a funded trader account. What to Expect After Winning • Prize confirmation from the Audacity Capital team • Account verification (if required) • Instructions to activate your awarded account • Access to the relevant funded or evaluation program • The chance to progress within Audacity Capital's funding ecosystem Winning is the first step toward becoming a funded trader and accessing larger capital through Audacity Capital's programs.
No. The event is designed to assess trading performance and rank participants on the leaderboard. Any profit generated is used for ranking and qualification only and is not withdrawable. The objective is to show consistent performance, effective risk management, and compliance with the rules. Top performers can earn Ability Challenge accounts, funded trading opportunities, or other rewards based on final ranking. Key Point • Event profit is not paid out • Profit determines your leaderboard position • Winners are rewarded with funded trading opportunities and prizes • The event is a pathway toward becoming a funded trader with Audacity Capital Your focus should be strong, consistent performance rather than generating withdrawable profit during the event itself.
The profit share depends on the funded program awarded and your progression. For traders who move into Audacity Capital's funded ecosystem, splits can start at 50% and rise to 80% or more as performance milestones are met. Audacity Capital rewards traders who show consistency, disciplined risk management, and long-term profitability through its scaling and progression structure. Funded Trader Benefits • Profit splits starting from 50% • Potential to scale to 80%+ profit share • Access to larger trading capital over time • Bi-weekly payout opportunities • Structured account growth and scaling plans The exact split and account conditions depend on the specific program awarded and your performance after entering the funded environment.
Once the month ends, Audacity Capital reviews and verifies the final leaderboard results to confirm all winners followed the rules and eligibility requirements. After verification, eligible winners are contacted with instructions to claim and activate their prize. The exact timeline varies with the verification process and prize type, but Audacity Capital aims to onboard winners as quickly as possible. What Happens Next 1. Final results are confirmed. 2. Winner eligibility is verified. 3. Winners are contacted by the Audacity Capital team. 4. Prize activation and account setup are completed. 5. Traders receive access to their awarded account or funded opportunity.
