Understanding the drawdown rules is essential before you start trading. FTP uses separate daily and maximum drawdown limits to define how much your account can lose.
The daily drawdown limit is 5% of the account balance and trails your account as your balance increases. The limit resets according to the program's daily reset schedule. If your account reaches the daily drawdown threshold, the account is considered breached.
The maximum drawdown is 10% of the initial account balance. Unlike the daily trailing limit, this threshold remains fixed and does not move upward as your account grows. Reaching this maximum loss level results in an account breach.

Read full storyIt is a proprietary trading model that gives traders access to a funded account without requiring them to complete a traditional one-step or two-step evaluation first. Traders typically pay an upfront fee and can start trading under predefined risk, drawdown and payout rules. The exact account structure and conditions vary between providers.
You choose an account, purchase the program, receive account access and begin trading without completing an evaluation. Payouts and scaling then depend on the program's rules.
Audacity Capital's FTP account operates in a simulated trading environment that mirrors live market conditions. While the trading environment is simulated, eligible profits are real and can be withdrawn according to the program's payout rules.
When comparing an instant funded prop firm, look beyond the initial account size. Consider the program’s drawdown structure, profit-sharing terms, payout conditions, trading rules, available platforms, permitted trading strategies, and scaling opportunities. It is also important to understand the specific terms and conditions before purchasing an account, as requirements can vary between funding programs
Because you skip the evaluation process, the upfront fee provides immediate access to a funded account. Challenge-based programs reduce the firm's risk by requiring traders to complete one or more evaluation stages before receiving funding.
With an instant funding model, traders do not need to pass a traditional evaluation before receiving their account. Instead, trading activity is monitored throughout the funded account based on factors such as account performance, drawdown, trading activity and compliance with the applicable program rules. For Audacity Capital's FTP program, there is no separate Challenge or Verification phase. Traders receive their account and trade under the program's rules from the start. Payout eligibility is then subject to the applicable trading and account requirements
An instant funded account allows traders to start trading under the program’s rules without completing a traditional evaluation first. Once the account is activated, traders can use the available trading platforms and markets, apply their own trading strategies, and work toward meeting the requirements for a payout. The account remains subject to the program’s risk limits, trading rules, and other applicable conditions.
No. An instant funding program provides access without a traditional evaluation, while challenge-based programs require traders to complete one or more evaluation phases before reaching the funded stage.
No. Audacity is one of the few instant funded prop firms without a consistency rule, so there is no cap on how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day. You keep the full reward of your best days.
If your account reaches the daily loss limit or maximum drawdown limit, the funded account is breached and closed. FTP has a 5% trailing daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum drawdown.
Your personal financial risk is limited to the fee you paid for the account. If your trading losses reach the permitted drawdown limits, the funded account is closed, but you are never responsible for repaying the firm's trading losses.
Yes. Instant funding accounts still have risk limits. These can include daily loss limits, maximum drawdown, static drawdown or trailing drawdown.
It depends on the provider and program. News-trading rules can vary by account type and may include restrictions around specific economic releases.
Yes. Audacity Capital's FTP provides access to multiple financial markets, including Forex, Gold, Indices, Commodities, and other supported CFDs through MetaTrader 5.
It is generally better suited to traders who already have a proven strategy and experience managing risk. If you're still developing consistency, Audacity Capital's Trading Competition or challenge-based funding routes can provide valuable experience before trading with funded capital.
Some instant funding programs permit weekend holding, while others restrict it. Check the exact rules for your account before leaving positions open over a weekend.
The cost depends on the provider and account size. Instant funding programs often have different fee structures from evaluation-based accounts because there is no traditional evaluation stage.
Instant funding as a funding model can be legitimate, but the legitimacy of an individual prop firm depends on the firm itself. Before purchasing an account, traders should check the firm's trading rules, payout terms, fees, company information, account structure and independent reviews. It's also important to understand whether the funded account uses simulated or live capital, since this varies between providers. Current industry sources likewise emphasize that “instant” refers to skipping the evaluation, not to being free of trading or payout conditions.
Legitimate ones do, and the proof is a verifiable payout history, not a marketing line. Before you buy from any instant fund prop firm, check its payout record, its reviews, and how long it has operated. Audacity Capital has paid traders since 2012.
You need to trade for a minimum of five days before requesting your first payout, after which withdrawals follow the program's regular payout cycle. Check the current FTP terms for the exact first-payout window before you buy.
Eligible payouts are processed according to Audacity Capital's payout schedule after your trading activity and account compliance have been verified.
Generally, an instant funding program does not require a profit target to obtain the initial account. However, profit targets or performance requirements may apply to payouts or scaling depending on the provider.
