Why Traders Choose Ability One

A one step prop firm challenge usually trades tighter rules for speed. Ability One keeps the speed, holds the drawdown static rather than trailing, and drops the consistency rule altogether.

Frequently Asked Questions

One-Step Evaluation Basics
Is the Ability One one-step evaluation harder than a two-step challenge?

It's shorter, not automatically easier. As a 1 step challenge prop firm route, Ability One sets a single 10% profit target but pairs it with a tighter 6% maximum drawdown, so it rewards traders with a tested edge and disciplined risk control rather than giving you a second phase to recover in.

Is the Ability One evaluation on a simulated account?

Yes. Like any prop firm one step evaluation, Ability One runs on a simulated account where you prove your strategy, then moves you to a live funded account once you pass. All trading carries risk, and passing an evaluation is never guaranteed.

What is a one-step evaluation?

A one-step evaluation allows traders to qualify for a funded account by completing a single assessment instead of multiple evaluation phases. You'll need to achieve the required profit target while staying within the program's risk limits.

Is this evaluation harder than a two-step challenge?

It's shorter, not automatically easier. As a one step challenge route, Ability One sets a single 10% profit target but pairs it with a tighter 6% maximum drawdown, so it rewards traders with a tested edge and disciplined risk control rather than giving you a second phase to recover in.

Is the evaluation completed on a simulated account?

Yes. Like any prop firm one step evaluation, Ability One runs on a simulated account where you prove your strategy, then moves you to a live funded account once you pass. All trading carries risk, and passing an evaluation is never guaranteed.

How long does it take to complete the evaluation?

There is no time limit. You can complete the evaluation at your own pace as long as you meet the profit target without breaching the trading rules.

What happens after I reach the profit target?

Once you achieve the required profit target and meet all trading objectives, you'll progress to a funded live account where you can begin trading for profit splits.

Trading Rules & Risk Management
What happens if I break a rule during the 1 step challenge?

If you exceed the 3% daily or 6% maximum drawdown, that evaluation ends. You can start a new Ability One evaluation whenever you're ready to go again.

Do I need to use a stop loss on Ability One?

It isn't mandatory, but it's worth using. With a 6% maximum drawdown, one unmanaged trade can end your evaluation, so a defined stop on every position helps protect the account.

Can I use Expert Advisors or trading bots on Ability One?

Yes, if you build them yourself. Ability One allows personally developed Expert Advisors but not third-party or commercial ones, and it doesn't permit high-frequency trading. Copy trading is allowed only between your own accounts.

What markets can I trade during the evaluation?

You can trade the instruments available under the program, including supported Forex, Indices, Commodities, and other eligible markets on the trading platform

Is news trading allowed?

Yes. However, all trades must comply with the program's trading rules and risk parameters.

Can I hold trades overnight or over the weekend?

Yes, provided your positions comply with the program's trading conditions and risk requirements.

What happens after I reach the profit target?

Once you've achieved the required profit target and met all trading objectives without breaching the rules, you'll become eligible to move to a funded live account.

Funded Account & Payouts
When can I withdraw profits after I pass?

You can request your first payout 14 days after your first live trade, and every two weeks after that. You keep up to 90% of the profits, and your evaluation fee is refunded up to 100% with that first payout.

How much capital can I manage?

The program offers account sizes of up to $200,000, giving traders access to substantial capital once they successfully complete the evaluation.

Is my evaluation fee refundable?

Yes. Your evaluation fee is refunded up to 100% with your first eligible profit withdrawal.

What profit share can I earn?

Successful funded traders can receive up to 90% of the profits generated, subject to the program's terms and conditions.

Can I scale my funded account?

Yes. Traders who consistently demonstrate disciplined trading and strong risk management may qualify for larger capital allocations through Audacity Capital's scaling plan.

Accounts & Program Flexibility
Can I run Ability One at the same time as an Ability Challenge or Instant Funding account?

Yes. You can hold Ability One, the Ability Challenge, and Instant Funding accounts together, with each program capped at $200,000 in allocation.

Can I have more than one evaluation account?

Yes. You can participate in multiple funding programs, subject to Audacity Capital's allocation limits and program terms.

Which trading platform is supported?

The evaluation is available on MT5 and DXtrade, providing traders with professional charting, execution, and risk management tools.

Can traders from any country apply?

The program is available to traders from many countries, subject to Audacity Capital's eligibility requirements and applicable restrictions.

How do I get started?

Simply choose your preferred account size, complete your registration, and begin the evaluation. Once you meet the program's objectives and comply with the trading rules, you'll become eligible for a funded account.

Join Audacity Capital's Funded Trader Program and trade with firm capital, keep up to 90% profit share, and unlock opportunities to scale your account as you prove consistent performance.
